After hearing God say unto them the word "PORN," two young Christian pastors realize their mission: use humor to fight the "porno plague," get teenagers away from porn, and help porn addicts have normal relationships again. Their journey takes them from the red light district of Amsterdam, to a porn rehab facility in Kentucky, and from the porn shows of Las Vegas to the porn sets of Hollywood.
Far from being big-haired, Southern-style televangelists, Mike and Craig are two holy dudes out to get their message across with billboards, a Porn Car, puppets, snarky commercials and by building the number one Christian porn site, www.xxxchurch.com.
Doing the work of the Lord is not always easy. Not only are there money problems and personality conflicts, but also hate mail and Turkish computer hackers to deal with. Their wives are suspicious and Christian Power house Pat Roberston won't let them on his Christian news show. Ironically, the only real help Craig and Mike get comes from a publicity-hungry, redemption-seeking porn director named Jimmy D. When these three team up to produce a "Pete the Porno Puppet" public service announcement, it threatens to destroy them all.
